• NBC Cancels Animal Practice - The show which airs on Global in Canada is going to be replaced by Whitney (airs on CTV in Canada).
• Andy Samberg to Star in FOX Comedy - The comedy from Parks and Recreation producers will feature Samberg star as a lead detective.
• Bret Michaels to Host Reality Series - The show called Rock My RV will air on Travel Channel and premiere in 2013.
• CBS CEO Could Get a Mayor Pay Boost - Les Moonves could get a contract extension to 2017 and a $22 million pay increase.
• Brendan Fraser to Star in TNT Pilot - The pilot called Legends, is from Homeland creator Howard Gordon.

• Wednesday Night's Baseball Rain Delay Causes Scheduling Issue for The X-Factor - Wednesday's The X-Factor on FOX will be pushed back to next Tuesday. The X-Factor aired Wednesday night at 9 on CTV here in Canada.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 on CTV Two

It was another bull’s eye for ARROW as 1.3 million viewers tuned in to its special CTV premiere Sunday night. Following its historic CTV Two debut Wednesday as the network’s most-watched series premiere on record (1.1 million viewers), ARROW delivered another million-plus audience to finish #4 for the night, behind only THE AMAZING RACE (#1, 2.7 million viewers), ONCE UPON A TIME (#2, 1.7 million viewers), and THE MENTALIST (#3, 1.6 million viewers). THE AMAZING RACE and ONCE UPON A TIME both delivered new season high audiences as CTV won every hour of primetime Sunday night from 7-11 p.m. with total viewers,A18-49, and A25-54.

CTV BC Announces New 6pm Anchor Team

Yesterday, Bill Good and Pamela Martin, the current anchor team on CTV BC News at 6, both announced they would be stepping down at the end of the month. And today CTV BC announced Mike Killeen and Tamara Taggart as the new anchor team, starting January 3rd.

"Mike and Tamara are the perfect combination to take our newscast into the future,” said Tom Haberstroh, Vice-President and General Manager, CTV British Columbia. “Both are already huge viewer favourites and well-respected throughout the community.”

"Co-anchoring CTV NEWS AT SIX in my hometown is truly a privilege, something I've dreamed of since before broadcasting school,” said Killeen. “I'm really excited to be anchoring with Tamara. Along with CTV's incredibly talented team of reporters, editors, camera operators and producers, we will deliver BC's best newscast every night."

"This opportunity is by far the most exciting challenge of my career,” said Taggart. “Vancouver is my hometown: to get to do this in the city I love is an honour. The best part is that I get to share this experience with Mike, who is not only a great journalist but a good friend.”
